England - The Kits : A Visual History

With England unveiling their new home and away kit ahead of this summer’s European Championships in France, we decided to take a look back at the changing face of English football, from the classic and simple 1960 kit through to the opinion-dividing Euro 2016 strip.

Starting with the early kits from Bukta, we chart the progression through the much-loved Umbro kit of the 1966 World Cup winning team, the rather dated Admiral getups, through the main Umbro strips of the 80’s and 90’s right the way through to Nike’s new strip, which has split fans and critics alike.
